Too short

This one doesn't need any comment... it's it all...

Have you ever seen the morning
When the sun comes up the shore
And the silence makes
A beautiful sound
Have you ever sat there waiting
For the time to stand still
For all the world to stop
From turning around

And you run
'Cause life is too short
And you run
'Cause life is too short

Have you ever seen the glowing
When the moon is on the rise
And the dreams are close
To the ones that we love
Have you ever sat there waiting
For heaven to give a sign
So we could find the place
Where angels come from

And you run
'Cause life is too short
And you run
'Cause life is too short
And you run
'Cause life is too short
And you run
'Cause life is too short

There's a time that turns
I'd turn back time
But I don't say I can
It only works if you believe in the truth
Well there's a time to LIVE
And a time to cry
But if you're by my side
I will try to catch a star
I'll try to catch a star
Just for you

And I run
'Cause life is too short
And I run
'Cause life is too short
And I run
'Cause life is too short
And I run
'Cause life is too short

Too short
Too short
Life is too short

Too short
Too short
Life is too short

New World

In an old mine's sweat shirt...

"Time has come to face our own evolution and start a new phase development. A process of counscious evolution. We have to replace our everyday consciousness by a new way of thinking. The need to preserve fauna and flora. Simple in means. Rich in end."

PEJ 2010

My first adventure in this was in 1999. It was also my first experience in such kind of meetings (excluding the National Scout Camps) and the beginning of some other international journeys. So, it was a mark in my faith growing, of course, but not in its strictly meaning but with all the tracks or the roots that can be linked to it. Friendship between those who followed me and shared all the moments that this event proposed (the dead tomb that we transported, the meals that we prepare... the mayonnaise, the rain,...), the ones who we met there and we still keep in touch (particularly from Romania, and the talk in the last night), the impact of so many people gathered with a common motif, a common belief, or even meeting again, in a foreigner country, our compatriots (that we don't know but as if we known each other since years).
In 2004, my responsibility grown because our group went alone; so, living all of this was a little bit different. But almost all the things that I've referred were present and, at El Monte del Gozo, it was amazing the entire ambiance around us, around all of us...
It's difficult avoiding returning to this experience. We grow on every way of our being, it's a fact, and maybe the time for living it has come to other ones - but we could see this meeting from other points of view (I guess). As long we keep an open mind, a spirit free enough to let the youth take us throw, there's always a place where we can give to the others a learn from them as well.
This time, (still in the age limits :) ), I'm thinking of accepting the challenge that had been made to me. Helping, serving, it is another face of living the PEJ. And I guess I need to LIVE it that way too.

Memories of Thursday

One of my favourites... it played time after time when evening comes and my eyes were on the window...

"I've been alone with you inside my mind
And in my dreams I've kissed your lips a thousand times
I sometimes see you pass outside my door
Hello, is it me you're looking for?

I can see it in your eyes
I can see it in your smile
You're all I've ever wanted, (and) my arms are open wide
'Cause you know just what to say
And you know just what to do
And I want to tell you so much, I love you ...

I long to see the sunlight in your hair
And tell you time and time again how much I care
Sometimes I feel my heart will overflow
Hello, I've just got to let you know

'Cause I wonder where you are
And I wonder what you do
Are you somewhere feeling lonely, or is someone loving you?
Tell me how to win your heart
For I haven't got a clue
But let me start by saying, I love you ...

Hello, is it me you're looking for?
'Cause I wonder where you are
And I wonder what you do
Are you somewhere feeling lonely or is someone loving you?
Tell me how to win your heart
For I haven't got a clue
But let me start by saying ... I love you"

A Journey through the Forest

It's amazing the feeling of walking by the forest... The same forest, the same river, the same water, almost untouchable, as quite as if it had just been created, the forest that others have crossed, over centuries and centuries.
Celts, romans, monks, knights, poor’s, sailors, liberals,... whatever the reasons that could move each one of them through this unrevealed forest, a mysterious feeling, a sense of being lost in the unknown with an hazy idea of an orientated path, guide us.
This is our journey in life. A travel through this beautiful landscape of memories and knowledge, colored of the green of hope, refreshed day by day with new dreams high extended to the skies, but always following the unexpected, the self discovering, running into the light peeking sometimes behind the leaves.
If, instead of running wildly to the end, we LIVE this track that we seek tree after tree, stone after stone, enjoying each moment as if it was unique, singular, unrepeatable... I'm sure that this track that we leave behind, that keeps printed, not in the ground, not in the trampled grass, but in our hands, in our smile, in our heart... will compose this journey... my journey.
My journey that I build at every moment, mixing dreams, hopes, expectations, joys... everything that LIVE in my own forest and lead me to a way... my way... So, as a choice's sequence, perfectly assimilated, my life gains a meaning and a reason in which I have the leading role, because "life is journey, not a destination".

I don't know why I looked for...

Elise Garber married the first boy she ever kissed. She met him at an Outward Bound--style summer-camp program when she was 15, she "sort of dated" him for the summer, and then, like most teenage romances, it ended. Twenty-two years later, they met again on Facebook.
"I don't know why I looked him up," says the 37-year-old former advertising-agency executive in Chicago. Garber was showing a co-worker how Facebook works, and to demonstrate the search function--a feature that allows users to search for the names of people they know--she entered Harlan Robins, the name of the first boy she kissed. At the prodding of her co-worker, Garber sent Robins a message. And then she waited. Would he respond? Would he accept her friend request? Was it weird to contact an old summer-camp boyfriend?
[...] For them, life really did resemble a romantic comedy. Robins remembered his summer-camp girlfriend and replied to her Facebook message. They agreed to meet for drinks the next time he was in Chicago. When they saw each other, something clicked. They talked into the night, went out the next day, then decided to give their long-distance retrosexual romance a try. Surprisingly, it worked. Garber quit her advertising job and moved to Seattle to be with him. On Sept. 6, they married. "And to think," says Garber, "I worried that we'd spend the whole evening talking about summer camp."

Un nuovo mondo!

Sognamo un mondo senza piu violenza
un mondo di giustizia e di speranza
Ognuno dia la mano al suo vicino
Simbolo di pace, di fraternita

We dream a world without violence
a world of justice and faith.
Everyone gives the hand to his neighbours
Symbol of peace, of fraternity
La forza che ci da
We ask that life be kind
e il desiderio che
and watch us from above
ognuno trovi amor
We hope each soul will find
intorno e dentro se
another soul to love

The force his gives us
We ask that life be kind
is wish that
and watch us from above
everyone finds love
We hope each soul will find
around and inside
another soul to love
Let this be our prayer
Let this be our prayer, just like every child

Need to find a place, guide us with your grace
Give us faith so we'll be safe
Need to find a place, guide us with your grace
Give us faith so we'll be safe

E la fede che
hai acceso in noi,
sento che ci salvera

It's the faith
you light in us
I feel it will save us

Back (I hope) from... a lot of things

Hello!
I have been away for a long time... Away, from this space, of course. A lot of things kept me busy and without any time to write some words.
I believe that I will have again some time to write but also to read... something that I didn't have any time... definitely.
So here I am again trying to look life through its backward view... When we stand back, we can look into ourselves, but we can also see what it is forward... If we don't see anything... well, we need to create it, paint it, imaging it... and I’m sure that it is one of the funniest exercises on each day to LIVE.
